General Information

We offer a comprehensive PreK–12 program, with both in-person and online learning options.
Our campus is at 900 Mount Curve Ave, Minneapolis, MN. Acumen Academy Online serves families across the United States and worldwide.
Classes run Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. On Fridays, Parents have the option for early release or shorter schedules.
Yes, extended care options are available for families who need early drop-off or late pick-up. Please see the tuition and fees section under Admission.

Admissions & Enrollment

Applications are available online at acumenacademymn.org (in-person) and acumenacademy.us (online).
Birth certificate, immunization records, previous school transcripts (if applicable), and a completed application form.
A non-refundable registration fee of $150 is required with each application.
We recommend applying early, as space is limited. Rolling admissions may be available if seats are still available.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Annual tuition is projected to be $8,000–$8,500 per student, with sibling discounts available, as well as other applicable fees.
Yes, families can choose annual, semester, or monthly installment plans.
Yes, Acumen Academy will offer scholarships and financial aid, as well as community-based donor support, if available.

Academics & Curriculum

We use Savvas, Calvert for K–5, and a combination of Savvas and Edmentum for 6–12, in conjunction with Islamic Studies, Qur’an, and Arabic programs.
Yes. Students participate in NWEA MAP Growth and Minnesota state assessments, in addition to internal benchmarks.
Middle and high school students have access to honors, AP, and dual-credit courses.

Faith & Values

Students participate in daily Qur’an recitation, prayer, Islamic Studies, and character education, with Jumu’ah prayer held on Fridays.
Yes, while Acumen Academy is faith-based, enrollment is open to families who respect and support our mission and values.

Student Life & Services

Yes. Breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks are provided daily, and parents pay for it; otherwise, you pack meals and snacks from home.
Transportation may be available, depending on family needs and bus routes, and parents are responsible for the cost.
We offer athletics, arts, clubs, leadership programs, service learning, Qur’an competitions, and cultural events.
Yes, Acumen Academy has a standardized school uniform in navy, gold, and white.
Yes. Students have access to academic support, tutoring, ESL services, and guidance counseling through community partnerships.

Safety & Policies

We maintain small class sizes to ensure personalized learning (average 10–15 students per teacher).
We have secure entry systems, safety drills, staff training, and clear discipline policies to protect our students.
Technology is used responsibly to enhance learning, with the implementation of filters, monitoring, and clear device-use policies.

Parent Involvement

Parents are required to volunteer 10 hours of their time for school events and support fundraising initiatives, such as field trips and the Parent Council.
